Safety First · Read Before Any Self-Guided Protocol Work

When Self-Guided Work
Isn't the Right Next Step.

The RDS Scalar system is self-health education, not emergency or clinical care. This page exists so you always know when to stop self-guided protocol work and get evaluated by a qualified physician instead.

⚠ If This Is An Emergency

Chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden severe symptoms, signs of stroke, or any life-threatening situation — call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Do not wait for a WhatsApp reply. This page and our team are not an emergency service.

Non-emergency red flags

Signs That Mean Stop and See a Doctor

These aren't emergencies, but they are signals that self-guided protocol work should pause until a qualified physician has evaluated you. This list is not exhaustive — when in doubt, seek medical evaluation.

Related to Acidity / Inflammation

  • Chest discomfort, even if you assume it's acid reflux
  • Joint swelling that is hot, sudden, or accompanied by fever
  • Unexplained, significant weight loss

Related to Toxicity / Pollutants

  • Severe or worsening headaches unlike your normal pattern
  • Confusion, disorientation, or sudden cognitive change
  • Skin or eye reactions that spread rapidly or affect breathing

Related to Parasites / Gut

  • Blood in stool or persistent severe abdominal pain
  • Inability to keep fluids down for more than 24 hours
  • Rapid, unexplained weight loss alongside gut symptoms

General — Any Load

  • Any symptom that is rapidly worsening rather than gradually changing
  • A known diagnosed condition that feels meaningfully different than usual
  • Any thought of stopping or changing prescribed medication — always discuss with your physician first, never decide this from self-guided material
If you're not sure

Message Our Team — Priority Routing

If something doesn't feel like an emergency but doesn't feel right either, message us. A red-flag message is treated as priority, not queued behind general questions.

Message Our Team Now — Priority

This opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled "RED FLAG" message so our team sees it immediately, not in general queue.

What this escalation actually is — full transparency

RDS Scalar does not currently operate a formal network of registered partner clinicians. When you message us as a red flag, our team's role is to help you understand what you're describing, strongly encourage and help you find appropriate in-person medical care, and pause any self-guided protocol recommendations until you've been evaluated. We are not a diagnostic service, we do not replace a doctor, and for anything urgent, contacting emergency services or your own physician directly is always faster and safer than waiting on us.

For Certified Scalar Guides

This Is Where You Escalate To

Per the Practitioner Track's Scope of Practice, every Certified Guide escalates red-flag cases here — not by guessing, not by offering their own medical opinion.

Recognise

Use the red-flag list above during any screening or intake conversation.

Pause

Stop recommending or continuing self-guided protocol work for that person immediately.
