Lal Kitab Remedies for Business Problems:
5 That Actually Work
Most people who try Lal Kitab remedies do one of two things: they follow a generic internet list of "remedies for success" without any chart analysis, or they go to a pandit who prescribes an expensive puja they cannot afford and cannot verify.
Neither works reliably. Because Lal Kitab remedies are chart-specific, planet-specific, and house-specific. A remedy for Saturn in the 7th house is not the remedy for Saturn in the 12th house — even though both might manifest as "business problems."
That said, there are 5 remedies that have broad applicability across the most common business problem configurations I see in Indian charts. These are based on 8,000+ charts and 15 years of tracking outcomes.
What makes Lal Kitab unique: Unlike classical Vedic remedies (expensive gemstones, elaborate rituals), Lal Kitab remedies are designed to be accessible — small acts, daily or weekly, that shift the energetic environment. The tradition holds that consistency over 43 days is more powerful than a one-time grand puja.
Understanding Business Problems Through Lal Kitab Astrology
In Lal Kitab, business problems are linked to specific planetary placements:
- Revenue stagnation / financial blocks: Afflicted Jupiter (2nd or 11th house), weak Mercury, or Saturn's aspect on the 10th house
- Partnership disputes / client losses: Afflicted Venus or Rahu in the 7th house
- Sudden financial setbacks: Rahu in the 2nd house, Ketu in the 11th house
- Delayed success despite hard work: Saturn's restrictive influence on the 10th or 1st house
- Employees leaving / team instability: Afflicted Mars or Sun in the 6th house
The 5 remedies below address the most common of these configurations. Even if you don't know your full chart, these are low-risk, high-benefit practices that align with multiple positive planetary principles simultaneously.
The 5 Remedies
Jupiter rules wealth, expansion, and growth. In Lal Kitab, the cow is Jupiter's most sacred symbol — feeding the cow activates Jupiter's grace. Making the offering sweet (add jaggery or sugar to the wheat flour) amplifies the effect by invoking Venus energy simultaneously (Venus = luxury, pleasure, wealth magnetism).
Saturn is the most powerful obstructor in business when it is in debilitation, in an enemy sign, or in specific houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) afflicting the chart. Saturn is also the greatest rewarder — but only for those who acknowledge and respect his energy rather than ignoring or fighting it. The Saturday mustard oil lamp is a direct acknowledgment of Saturn's presence and a request for his benevolence.
Rahu is associated with illusion, sudden disruption, and unconventional forces. In Lal Kitab, the dog — especially the black dog — is Rahu's representative creature. Feeding stray dogs, particularly before your own meal, is one of the most consistently documented Rahu remedies in the tradition. It is especially powerful for business owners experiencing sudden client losses, partnership betrayals, or unexplained setbacks despite everything looking correct on paper.
Mercury governs trade, communication, intellect, and business acumen. Copper is Mercury's metal in Lal Kitab. Storing water in a copper vessel activates Mercury energy and the north direction (Mercury's direction in Vastu). Adding fresh basil (tulsi) leaves, which are sacred to Vishnu (the protector of dharma and wealth), strengthens the remedial effect.
The 7th house governs business partnerships, clients, and public dealing. An afflicted 7th house creates disputes, broken partnerships, and client loss. Sun is the authority planet — and a direct offering to the Sun activates his protective energy for the 7th house domain. This is particularly effective for entrepreneurs who have experienced a pattern of betrayal by business partners.
The Golden Rule of Lal Kitab Remedies
These 5 remedies are chosen because they are safe, low-cost, and do not require chart verification to be beneficial. But I want to be honest about their limitations:
Generic remedies address generic problems. If your business problem is rooted in a specific affliction — say, Rahu in the 2nd house in debilitation opposing Jupiter — the generic Thursday cow feeding will help but the chart-specific remedy (which might be a completely different intervention) will be 3–5 times more powerful.
The deeper principle: Lal Kitab holds that every planetary obstruction is a karmic lesson. The remedy is not a bypass — it is an acknowledgment and a correction of the behaviour or attitude that invited the obstruction. The businessman with a Saturn problem who does the mustard oil remedy but continues to be dishonest in his dealings will not see results. The one who does the remedy AND takes the Saturn lesson (discipline, patience, ethics) will see transformation.
Getting a Chart-Specific Remedy Prescription
For anyone serious about using astrology to address specific business problems, the most useful step is a full chart analysis — not just the generic remedy list, but an identification of:
- Which planet is the primary obstructor in your specific chart
- Which house it occupies and which areas of life it therefore affects
- What the current Mahadasha/Antardasha combination is activating in your chart
- The 2–3 specific Lal Kitab remedies matched to your chart's configuration
This is the level of specificity covered in the Cosmo Astro Diamond Report — 34 chapters including a dedicated remedies chapter specific to your chart.
