Let me disclose something unique without taking names .

Most costly top shots consulting firms hire good english speaking premier Business School Case study learned consultants who are good in making presentations and power BIs.
Their dress code is for their supremacy over the hard working client representing professionals .

Do you know whom they hire to get their ground intelligence , it’s subject matter experts like RDS.
Without few people like us ,they can’t sound realistic on the ground , because it’s we who have soiled our hands in real turnaround battles.
They hide behind their sharp consulting blueprint attitude tone , know everything about subject experts like me but never disclose their names.
They take our work and use it their way to charge 10x .
Possibly this era will come to an end .

In my 34 years of corporate career from GET to manager to GM to VP CEO to ED to MD , I came across working with Big4+ MBBs and even the next in the consulting chain , the rule of the game has been simple , we gave them data , they gave us blueprint back which was a data cube with an action plan that we only gave them .
Ultimately our bosses pushed the reports into our KRA with deadlines .
When I looked back , except ppt work , rest all was done by me .
They could walk into my Boss office any time while we hesitated .
I got offers to join them always but somewhere I found more energy & satisfaction in shop floors. We could do blueprints better than them always .
But corporate world also lives in a big bias ..
